Senior state government officials, including Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, will be present at the hotel management agreement signing ceremony.

The agreement will outline the terms and conditions for 25 years of commercial operations, including the revenue-sharing arrangement.

Spanning 7.2 acres, Taj Ayodhya will feature approximately 300 rooms, including 29 luxury suites. It will be situated along the Lucknow-Gorakhpur national highway in the Sohawal area.

It will offer amenities such as temperature-controlled swimming pools and private villas, catering to families and individuals seeking luxury in a religious setting.

Construction is expected to be completed by 31 December 2025, with commercial operations slated to begin in April 2026.

The project signifies IHCL’s expansion in Ayodhya. In April 2023, IHCL partnered with Bhardwaj Global Infraventures to introduce a 100-room Vivanta hotel and a 120-room Ginger hotel in the region.

By January 2024, IHCL further expanded with the signing of its 150-key third property, an IHCL SeleQtions hotel. IHCL signed a resort in Ayodhya under the Gateway brand in October 2024.
